About
The North Peace Veterinary Clinic was established in 1963 by Dr. Peter Cribb, and purchased by Dr. Richard Wood in 1967. From its inception the practice has served families, family pets, and the family farm. In the early years the practice was located in the basement of the Wood family home. Farm calls were many and often cows and horses were cared for in the carport with the blessing of the neighbours. As the needs of the practice and community grew it was obvious more space was needed and the current clinic was constructed in 1974. Growth and expansion dictated an addition to the building in 1989, with several renovations occurring over the years. In the fall of 2013 we opened a large addition to the practice nearly doubling it’s size. A new large animal facility and small animal boarding and hospitalization wards were added. Many individuals and veterinary associates have contributed time, energy and expertise in the expansion and development of the practice over the decades.Today the practice is owned and managed by Drs. Perry and Corinne Spitzer. The veterinary care team consists of many individuals with a broad range of skills and interests in large and small animal veterinary care. Today, as in previous decades, we endeavour to continually provide dependable, available, progressive veterinary care to our clients and patients. Together we are the North Peace Veterinary Clinic, founded in our community, committed to our community, and proud to provide veterinary care for our community.
