Barrydowne Animal Hospital was built and opened for practice in 1963 by Dr. Lou Ripa.Since that time, we have continuously upgraded both the facility, and our ability topractice.As technology advanced, we have added the ability to do laser surgery which reducesblood loss, as well as reducing pain and swelling, and speeds healing. With a therapeutic laser machine we can treat pain associated with arthritis, soft tissue damage and dermatitis etc.Our digital radiographs allow us to have instant results and avoid toxic chemicalsassociated with traditional x-rays. These radiographs, as well as being accessible to ourcomputer system including our exam room laptops, can also be sent by e-mail tospecialists for consultation if necessary.Our dental suite, complete with dental x-ray ability, enable us to give dental treatments which we consider a very important element of overall health care.We believe strongly in preventative health care for your pets, which helps to maintain along and healthy life.By attending seminars, conferences, and other educational pursuits, we strive to give ourpatients the best and latest treatments possible.Our clients should expect and deserve nothing less.
